Anne Fengyan Shi

Anne Fengyan Shi is a research associate at the Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life, focusing on religion and social welfare. Prior to joining the Pew Forum, Anne worked for nearly nine years as a research associate at the American Enterprise Institute for Public Policy Research. At AEI, Anne conducted research on U.S. social and economic policy issues, including the American family and the household, child care, early childhood education, food assistance, income and poverty, marriage and divorce, nonmarital births, welfare reform and working mothers. Her research focused on demographic trends, program evaluation and survey methodology.

Anne received her M.A. and Ph.D. in American government from Georgetown University.
