Neha Sahgal is a survey research associate at the Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life. Prior to joining the Pew Forum, Neha worked as an analyst at Ventana Research in Pleasanton, Ca. and The Asia Foundation in San Francisco.
Neha received her doctorate in government and politics, with a concentration in the comparative politics of the Middle East and South Asia, from The University of Maryland in 2008. Her dissertation examines alliance building among Islamist, secular and leftist opposition groups in Egypt and Pakistan. She received her bachelor's degree in political science from The College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio.
