Oliver Read is the Web manager for the Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life. Prior to joining the Forum, Oliver was an associate editor at the Online NewsHour with Jim Lehrer, where he reported on international affairs and created and managed the website for the PBS documentary "Generation Next," headed by Judy Woodruff. For much of 2003-2006, Oliver lived in Berlin, where he co-founded New Berlin Magazine and New Munich Magazine. His time there was preceded by a sojourn in Mongolia, where he worked as the editor of The Mongol Messenger in the capital city of Ulaanbaatar. Oliver also spent several years living in Boston, where he worked briefly at the National Public Radio affiliate WBUR and received his M.A. in journalism from Boston University. Oliver received his B.A. in English literature from Ohio Wesleyan University in 2000.
